Day 1 Stop #3 - Dud

Stop #3: Bill’s BBQ Shack in Rantoul, Il. After being distracted by a Dairy Queen that was open while it was both cold and bad weather, we turn down a residential street to look for the shack and have to decide if it is the house at the end of the road, or the dirt pile across the street that may have once housed a shack. Either way, BBQ is not to be had for obvious reasons. Back onto I-57 and to our first night of sleep. Upon pulling up to America’s Best Value Inn and being given the only room on the side away from the Highway, we see the bright red letters above a building that are BBQ.
